We found this dog around the north 6th ave area late last night. He came to us as soon as we called to him. He seems to be an older dog and listens very well. I dont know what kind of dog he is but I included a picture of him. He is black and white. He didnt have a collar or any tattoo's. I will contact the humane society tomorrow to see if someone has reported him missing. He is a sweet dog. I hope that someone will claim him soon because we cant keep him. He doesnt seem to be a vocal dog. We can be contacted at the following phone numbers 814-931-7591 or 814-505-5475. On May 20 we rescued a Blue Tick Beagle who had been wandering around near Bald Eagle State Park lake (the opposite end of the lake from the park, in the Curtin Village area) She is a young female, had no collar or other identifying marks. We have tried to find her owner with no success. It's possible she was left by a college student since she was found near the time that Penn State classes ended for the summer and unfortunately this is a place where many people abandon cats and dogs. We have desperately been trying to find her a home as she loves to run and cannot be kept in the one bedroom apartment where she is currently being cared for. She's loving, gentle, great with kids and a bundle of energy. Please help us find Stevie a forever home where she can run and play.

 Submitted on February 6, 2010 Found A German Shepard.  Wearing a tag that says Senior Citizen 2008 on it.  15th street and 6th avenue in the Juniata section of Altoona.  Call 932-3617 and ask for Tammy kibler.  We have the dog tied up on our porch. UPDATE:
I posted an e-mail Saturday, 2/6/10, about a German Shepard we found that
day near our home at 15th street and 6th Ave. in the Juniata section of
Altoona.  We ended up taking the dog to the Humane Society on Saturday
(2/6/10),  so if you get an inquiries about this dog, please have them call
the Humane Society at 942-5402.

 Submitted on January 31, 2010  Today is 1-31-10 yesterday I found a older male walker coon hound in the Williamsburg area.  The dog has been seen running around for several days. He has a black back with brown legs and a white belly. he did not have a collar on him. Call me George @ 381-6761

 Submitted on January 20, 2010 My husband and I found a female Beagle around Keystone Avenue in Cresson, PA.  We found her last Thursday (January 14th).  We have called numerous vets, the humane society, the groomer in cresson, and the township and borough police and no one has claimed her yet.  She is dark brown with some white and white on her face.  We are guessing she is a few years old.  We are really hoping to find her family.  We are unable to keep her because we have a baby on the way and already have one dog.  Our house just isn’t big enough.  If anyone knows anything or can help us out, please let us know.  Otherwise, we will have to take her to the Humane Society. -Stephanie at : Stephanie.McConnell@kimballcorp.com

Our address is 1847 Tyrone Pike, Philipsburg, PA  16866   Directly across from the PA Water Company. This older kitten (maybe  3 or 5 months (not sure about that) appeared in our garage two nights ago.  The first night she was very scared by by last night she is letting me pet her and appears to be very friendly but hungry. I would love to keep her but have three cats already.
I believe that she is a female although I have not been able to give her good exam. She was very clean and has been using the litter box that we set up for her.  She is black and white with some grey tiger. Four white paws and half and half face. Submitted on December 22, 2009 -  OWNER LOCATED 12/23/09 We had a puppy show up last night in front of our house and wanted to report him as a found dog please. He’s a male neutered hound (we think blue tick) around 6-8 months of age. He was found on Tadpole Rd in PA Furnace on 12/21/09 around 6:30 at night. Submitted on November 30, 2009Found large adult male tabby cat.  Primarily white on lower body, stomach, chest, legs, and half of face.  Yellow/reddish orange on top.  Bridge of nose is white and has distinctive tabby markings below nose and around upper mouth.  Not neutered.  Very friendly and vocal.  Found in Laurel Mt.
